Sugar Candy

Sugar Candy was created as a reinterpretation of the original Artglass luminaire Frozen, which underwent a sensitive redesign. The inspiration comes from rock candy on a stick – its crystalline structure, sparkle, and a touch of playful childhood nostalgia. This motif is reflected in the composition of crystal pendants that capture the light and disperse it into a shimmering, almost sugary texture. The piece is complemented by a matte copper metal structure that lends the luminaire a warm, refined character while gently contrasting with the brilliance of the crystal. The object thus acquires a distinctive, almost jewel-like quality while celebrating the craftsmanship of our workshops. Thanks to its modular principle, individual elements can be layered and combined into larger light installations. Sugar Candy connects the tradition of crystal craftsmanship with the lightness of contemporary design.
