Bazaar Bizaar

The Bazaar Bizaar luminaire emerged from an immediate creative impulse during the art director’s Jakub Berdych Karpelis first visit in Artglass – his initial concept was completed on the very first evening. It is based on a direct engagement with traditional components used in lighting production, which become the fundamental building material of the entire composition. Familiar elements are assembled in new ways, layered and intertwined to create unexpected relationships. The design thus resembles a luminous patchwork, where each detail carries the trace of its original function as well as its new role. The whole composition feels playful and spontaneous, while at the same time revealing the aesthetic potential of the structural elements themselves. Bazaar Bizaar celebrates material, process, and the joy of discovering new forms. The luminaire is as bold as art itself.
